A team of researchers from the Distav Department of the University of Genoa has identified 8 specimens of Patella ferruginea, in the Marine Protected Areas of Bergeggi and Cinque Terre. This is a very important find, because for a long time the presence of this species was not reported along the coast of Liguria.
